Let me start off by saying, “This has been a weird year in music”. In which we saw hip-hop’s gangsta persona killed by the freshmen of the year, Drake, Wale and Kid Cudi. Taking rap back to the old school to learn some new school style from the Hugh Hef mocking to the still got my Nike boots on and walking with no one to hang out with, talk that shit to, just my Brooklyn Brothers.
Overall, it has been a breath of fresh air for hip-hop as a whole. Though with this transformation taking place before my very eyes, I must say that despite the level of skills the diaper dandy trio have shown, I am disappointed that, K-os, is never mentioned ever on mainstream. He preseeded all three with his fourth album being released this year, Yes!. The album can not even be found in stores in the US, so if you would like to purchase it you will have to order it through your local music store.
