I just realized that Maxwell released the first Album of his LONG awaited BLACK summers’ night trilogy today. It has been getting good reviews. However, there have been some complaints about the album’s length. It is only about 36 minutes long. Regardless, true Maxwell fans will be anything but disappointed. Maxwell uses a session band with a full horn section throughout the album. Pick it up and plan a night with your woman… You’ve waited long enough.

The other two parts of the trilogy should be released over the next two years. Also, keep an eye for Maxwell in a city near you. He will be at Louisville’s Palace on July 13.

That song, “Pretty Wings” is a great song. Definitely been playing that track for a few weeks now.
