Young Wayne , who is one of the hardest working people in show business, has been grinding away in the studio to put together the mixtape No Ceilings, the debut from his new record label titled Lil Wayne presents…We Are Young Money and his forthcoming full-length album, Rebirth, that is in stores now. The rap/rock crossover album has three singles Da Da Da, On Fire & Drop the World (featuring Eminem); with a few other songs being changed from their orginal format including Prom Queen and Ground Zero with Hot Revolver being left off all together. And if you didn’t know, there is an extended version of Hot Revolver, with the second verse’s subject matter probably being the reason for why it was dropped from the album. Another track that didn’t make the cut, F**k Today (featuring Gudda), is also available on iTunes to be downloaded and added to your Rebirth Mix. Overall, I enjoy the new album from Wayne but I have heard die hard fans say they like his old stuff better. As for the rock fans opinion, I won’t even go there because they will be sure to throw it under the bus. Everybody is intitled to an opinion that goes without saying but if you need some new music to get yourself motivated to go back to the gym after a bad break up then this is just for you. Holla.
