Here is a sick mixtape that compiles some of the best Slum Village tracks.   For those of you too young or too mainstream to know, Slum Village is true classic Hip Hop.   These tracks are J Dilla and the rest of SV at their finest, before many even knew who J Dilla was.   It is a shame it took J Dilla’s death and love from some more mainstream artists like Common to get one of the best producers in Hip Hop a little notoriety.   Anyway, download this tape and then go out and buy the Slum Village LPs… They will not disappoint.   My only complaint is the DJ yelling all over the tape… When will someone put a stop to this nonsense?
