Ups to our boys from the Ville for winning the regular season Big East Championship.  If the selection committee doesn’t give us a #1 seed, we are all wearing white suits like Ricky P in protest.  A really fly protest.

Please. It’s too bad this website is pro south, i.e. pro Louisville. Nobody else cares about a team that will likely be out by the second round. Calling it now.

wow. you gotta be kidding, talking like that from the west coast, where the Pac 10 has . . . 1 team in the top 25? The fact that I even question that there is 1 means the Pac 10 is no better than OFF THE MAP in college basketball this year. I’ll take Louisville. You can have the entire Pac 10. Bet I get more wins in the NCAA tourney. Did the Pac 10 even participate in college basketball this season? And about that conference that Louisville just dominated in the regular season . . . it has more teams in the TOP 5 than the Pac 10 has in the top 35, and more teams in the Top 26 (including West Virginia) than the Pac 10 has in the Top 75 in RPI ratings. And, idiot, the Big East is not in the South, it is the Big EAST, as in Louisville is the southern-most school in the conference. BIG EAST CHAMPS!

To the rest of the non-Kentucky world, Louisville is the South. In no way was I putting them as part of the SEC. Further, I am not debating that the Big East is a legit conference. I’m only debating Louisville’s ability to make it past the second round.

The Pac Ten is weak and I’m not even a fan of the Pac-10 besides my love for UCLA . My team is Purdue and my conference is the Big Ten which should fare well this year. Louisville will go down early after Pitino decides not to guard the inbound pass. Oh wait, that was my previous post on Pitino’s bonehead move back in that Duke v. Kentucky game. Haha.

Here’s to the upset that lies ahead!

The Big Ten? Because Michigan St. and Illinois are huge powerhouses this year? Or because after Michigan St., every team in the Big Ten lost at least 8 games, and the second and third place teams in the conference (Illinois and Purdue) went 11-7 in an incredibly weak conference? Or because your fourth place team (Wisconsin) went 19-11 on the year in total? Or because you also have one (1) ranked team in the Top 25. Besides Michigan St., the Big East is as bad as the Pac 10 this year. You think they will fare well when they won’t have anything higher than a 5 seed (besides Mich. St.)? Meanwhile, the Big East could justifiably have 3 NUMBER ONE SEEDS. Again, Louisville could have more wins than the entire Big Ten (besides Michigan St.)

Wait for tourney time. All your rankings, RPI, etc. don’t mean jack come tourney time. The Big Ten produces every year during the tourney and this year won’t be different. Coach Izzo will have the Spartans ready to make a deep run and with Purdue’s Hummel back from his spine injury, the Boilermakers will make a deep run (and a sneak peek into next year’s preseason #1 ranking they will likely receive).

As for the Big East, they’ll likely have a good run by one of their teams. One of which will not be Louisville. Oh and let’s talk about the Big East which has 16 teams. It’s hard in major college sports not to have at least a few good teams WHEN YOUR CONFERENCE HAS 16 TEAMS. Be honest with yourself.

Who cares… The NIT is the tournament of choice this year anyway.

Santino, I am not sure but I think it says Boilerdown somewhere in all that shit on T Will’s chest.
