Wale dropped the first single off of his upcoming album Attention Deficit. The album is slated to drop in the summer, but we have the audio from “Chillin” for you now. The track has a hot sample from “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye” (shout out to the Louisville Cardinals) and is featuring Lady Gaga. We have been joking around that we were the first to put out the College Anthem well before Asher Roth. So we did some digging and found the old EP… If you grew up in or around the Louisville area in the late 90s, it is possible you are familiar with Saltwata of haap fame. If you are like most people and work during the day, there is a good chance you missed Lil Wayne’s guest appearance on Around the Horn. Fortunately, we are not like most people and caught it for you. Apparently, Weezy is turning into a Renaissance man of sorts. He has been writing blog posts for ESPN the Magazine (Lil Wayne’s ESPN Blog). While a career in sports writing may not be in his future, he doesn’t do too bad on the show. He is a welcome change to a show that has gotten a bit stale. Maybe they should have more quest appearances. It would be cool to see some more random athletes, actors and artists on there. Who would you like to see on the show?
