Feeling kind of blue?  Leave it to our boy Blu to put things in perspective.  This is a free leak from his Myspace page.  There isn’t too much info on this one, but it appears to be part 1 of a few.  Blu gives production credit to “GODleeBarnes”.

The track has a hot Jazz sample over a mellow beat, and of course Blu kills it.  Anyone know who the sample is of?!

Look, it is no secret that we are big fans of anything Blu.  If you consider yourself a fan of true hip-hop, a fan of “good hip hop”, or just good music, you need to cop Blu’s albums.  Below the Heavens was one of the best albums of last year; Johnson & Jonson does not disappoint either.

Terius Nash, aka The Dream, is dropping his second solo studio album this winter and if this track is any indication of what to expect, we think big things are on the horizon for the self anointed “radio killa.” Look for his sophomore album, Love vs. Money, to hit shelves February ‘09.

Just imagine this scenario: You’re out at a concert enjoying arguably one of the most entertaining live sets around in the Roots. Its getting close to the end of the show and after working thru so many of their own hit songs the band decides to put their own twist on the most stepped on beats of the year, “A Milli.” And you might think to yourself, “Really? The King of the Decks has been puttin’ in work, and the Haapwyshits fellas have been puttin’ Revolution on for some time now via the Wake Up Show, an internationally syndicated hip hop mix show that has born some of the greatest hip hop talents in the last decade, including Eminem, Xzibit, and Common. We have been privy to the skills of Revolution, who is originally from the East Coast but relocated to the West Coat for a resident gig on the Wake Up Show, for some time now, but the streets tell us that his new album titled “King of the Decks” will hit harder than anything he has done yet. It will be released September 16th, and will include some of the sickest artists in the game right now. Catch the jump off track “DJ” below featuring none other than the one and only KRS One. HAAP.
