This is a note to all of our readers that we are officially changing or domain name to haapmag.com. It is easier to remember and a little more marketable. We will also be personalizing this blog some. There will be a side blog added in the right column of the site to update readers on what we are doing with the business, shirt designs, how we built this site and the company, etc…
We will also be removing ads from our blog other than ads for our t-shirts and other products we may release. We will elaborate more on the rationale behind this in future posts. We may leave a few thinks to purchase music on sites like itunes, but that is mainly for your convenience.
The domain name will be changing from Haapwyshits.com to Haapmag.com shortly, so please take note and update your rss subscriptions, bookmarks, etc.. We wanted haap.com, but the owner wanted a ridiculous sum for it.
All zero of you. We are going to start personalizing this site and telling you our story. The story of a group of 14 guys, best friends, and how we came to rule the world. Get ready. Introducing the Haap crew.
The haap crew stepped out this weekend for a Talib Kweli show at Flight Nightclub in Huntington Beach, CA. It was a small private show for maybe 800 guests. The small club provided an intimate atmosphere and there really wasn’t a bad seat in the house. Talib performed for about 45 minutes to an hour with a few songs by Strong Arm Steady intermixed. Kweli also stuck around after to kick it and take pictures with fans.
We got some exclusive video for you from the show. We are a little pissed because the best two clips of his opener and closer got erased. The Blackberry Storm likes to freeze for no apparent reason. The videos that did save turned out surprisingly well for a phone video camera though.

For more videos of the show visit the Haapwyshits YouTube page. We will be bringing you more exclusive video from shows and events in the near future, so check back.
Keep an eye out for Reflection Eternal 2, which should drop sometime this year. You can also keep up with Talib, Strong Arm Steady and their whole crew at Yearoftheblacksmith.com.
DJ Santino of Mix Armada and haap with Talib. Thanks for wearing your haap shirt Mike?!
We have been joking around that we were the first to put out the College Anthem well before Asher Roth. So we did some digging and found the old EP… If you grew up in or around the Louisville area in the late 90s, it is possible you are familiar with Saltwata of haap fame. Saltwata’s stardom peeked with a few spins on the local B 96.5, but everyone isn’t destined to be the next Great White Hype… Without any further ado:
